Independent ART specialists combine to form new venture

Captive specialists RISCS and Cutts-Watson Consulting (CWC) are merging to form a new entity, RISCS CWC.

Oliver Schofield, managing partner of RISCS, will become CEO of the new business, while Malcolm Cutts-Watson, founder of CWC, takes up the position of non-executive chairman.

Founded in 2012 by industry veteran Schofield, RISCS is an independent consultancy providing captive & ART strategic risk advice to brokers, underwriters, corporates and captives. CWC was formed in 2015, providing a broad range of advisory services in the ART space.

Both parties said the combined entity is born out of a shared culture & vision and a commitment to providing the highest standard of independent captive and ART solutions to their global clients.

Schofield commented: “We are delighted to be joining forces at such an exciting time for the industry… this combination enables us to collectively broaden our offering, increase our footprint and grow our team.”

Cutts-Watson added “Bringing our two businesses together ensures clients have a viable choice of independent risk financing advisers. I and the team of consultants at CWC are excited about the start of the next chapter of growth.”
